Why I created this community

Knowing from a very young age of 15 years old I knew I wanted to cook. I never knew what a crazy 16-year adventure that would lead me on in the end, but wow has it been something! I needed to put pen to paper and hopefully inspire others to take a leap of faith and go on some crazy life adventure that's called yachting!

I've worked on all types of vessels ranging from 15m - 63m and run of the mill dive liveaboard, small sailing catamarans to luxury 100 million dollar superyachts.

I'm here to give you the experience and guidance I wish I would have had when I started my career in yachting as a chef. The information out there was either too expensive, seemed like a scam or the internet was still too young and there wasn't much out information available giving real-life insight about the life of a yacht chef.

That's why I have finally taken the time to create The Yacht Chefs page. I want it to be about, well yachts chefs and people interested in becoming one. I also want yacht chefs already in the industry to come here to hopefully learn more and push the boundaries to make this industry better!​
